Contents

The papers chiefly relate to Bamber's research interests on the subject of Catholic martyrology in Lancashire. The papers are mostly articles, talks and research notes but they also include historical material, presumably collected by Bamber as part of his research. The historical material includes a manuscript written in 1722 by Christopher Tootell on the martyrs of the 17th century, as well as indentures relating to Catholic-owned land in Lancashire.
