1-134 (with 11 and 11*, 37 and 37*). Misbound: f.102 belongs between f.6 and 7, and f.11* between f.9 and 10

Script

Written in uncial and Insular half-uncial by four scribes.

Binding

Standard Tuckett binding, mid 19th century full brown calf over thick wooden boards (Charles Tuckett, binder to the British Museum, rebound most of the Cosin Manuscripts in the 19th century)


Manuscript history
Creation

Written in England, Northumbria, mid 8th century, the content implies it might have been used by a bishop. The addition of documents recording privileges of Durham Priory indicate that it was at Durham Priory by the 12th century (Gameson 2010, 41).
